Gold Band, Silver Groove
The Imperial is a gold tungsten band with a silver groove through the surface. Gold covers the majority of the band; the silver sits in the centre as a cooler element within the warmer base.
The combination is less common than gold and black or gold and rose gold, which is why buyers who choose it tend to have spent time with the range.
The silver groove gives the gold band a second dimension. The ring reads as gold at a distance and reveals the contrast up close.
The gold and silver surfaces on the Imperial are both PVD finishes on tungsten carbide. Tungsten holds both at the groove boundary through daily wear.
Tungsten cannot be resized, but Newman Bands offers a free size exchange if the fit is not right first time.
