These terms apply to purchases from newmanbands.com. This website and shop is operated by Manzora Ltd (trading as Newman Bands), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 04203239. Manzora Ltd is VAT registered.

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Manzora Ltd trading as Newman Bands. “You” and “your” mean you, the customer. “Site” means newmanbands.com.

Please read these terms carefully. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by them.


1. Who we sell to

We sell men’s rings to consumers in the United Kingdom only. We do not currently ship outside the UK from this site.

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 or over.

We sell to individuals for personal use. We are not set up for wholesale, trade, or reseller purchases.

2. Your statutory rights

Nothing in these terms affects or limits your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Our goods will be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If they’re not, you have a legal right to a repair, replacement or refund.

3. Placing an order

When you place an order, you make an offer to buy the product at the price shown. We accept your order when we email you to confirm dispatch. Until that dispatch email, no contract exists between us and we may refuse your order โ€” for example, if an item is out of stock, if there’s been a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud.

If we cancel an order, we’ll refund any payment you’ve made in full.

4. Prices

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT at the standard UK rate where applicable.

Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay.

We try to keep all prices accurate, but occasional errors happen. If we discover a pricing error after you’ve ordered, we’ll contact you and give you the choice to either reconfirm your order at the correct price or cancel and receive a full refund.

5. Payment

We accept payment through our third-party payment providers (Stripe and PayPal) at checkout. Your payment details are handled by those providers โ€” we never see or store your full card details.

Payment is taken when you place the order. Your statutory rights regarding faulty goods and the right to cancel (see sections 7 and 8) are unaffected.

If you use a buy-now-pay-later service at checkout in the future, your agreement with that provider is separate from these terms.

6. Delivery

We ship to all UK addresses, including the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands, at the same price.

  • Free UK delivery: Royal Mail Tracked 48. Arrives in 1โ€“3 working days from dispatch.
  • Tracked 24 upgrade: ยฃ3.50. Arrives the next working day in most cases.

We dispatch same day on orders received before 5pm Monday to Friday, or 11am on Saturday. Orders placed after these cutoffs dispatch the next working day.

Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. If your order is significantly delayed, contact us and we’ll help resolve it.

7. Your right to cancel, return, and exchange

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the statutory right to cancel a distance purchase within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason.

We voluntarily extend this window to 100 days from delivery. Within 100 days, you can return any unengraved ring for a full refund or exchange.

Returns are free. We provide a prepaid Royal Mail returns label by email when you start a return.

Exchanges are free and unlimited. If the size isn’t right, we’ll swap as many times as it takes until you’re happy.

Refunds are processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned ring, back to your original payment method.

8. Engraved and personalised rings

Once a ring has been engraved with your chosen text, it’s unique to you and cannot be exchanged or refunded. This is in line with your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which exempt personalised goods from the standard 14-day cancellation right.

To make sure you never end up stuck with an engraved ring that doesn’t fit, we ship all engraved orders plain first. You try the ring on, confirm the size and that you’re happy, and only then do we engrave it and ship it back to you.

If an engraved ring arrives faulty or not as described, this doesn’t apply โ€” your statutory rights to repair, replacement or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain fully intact.

9. Faulty or damaged goods

If your ring is faulty, damaged, or not as described, contact us as soon as you notice at clare@newmanbands.com.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you’re entitled to:

  • Within 30 days of delivery: a full refund
  • After 30 days but within 6 months: a repair, replacement, or refund (we decide, but it must resolve the fault)
  • After 6 months: you may still have rights if the fault was present at delivery

We’ll pay return postage for faulty items.

10. Product descriptions and images

We take care to describe our rings accurately โ€” materials, dimensions, finishes and weights. Where measurements are given they are approximate.

Colours and finishes may appear slightly different on different screens. We don’t guarantee your monitor will display colours exactly as they appear in real life, but we’ll always help if a ring arrives and doesn’t look how you expected.

11. Stock availability

Our rings are stocked in limited quantities. We reserve the right to limit order quantities on a case-by-case basis, to withdraw products from sale at any time, or to refuse service where we reasonably believe a customer is abusing our return or exchange policies.

12. Using this website

You agree not to use this site:

  • for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
  • to harass, abuse, or harm any person
  • to impersonate anyone else
  • to upload viruses, malware, or any code designed to interfere with the site
  • to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
  • to scrape, copy, or exploit site content without our permission
  • to infringe any intellectual property or other rights

We may suspend or block access for anyone breaching these terms.

13. Our intellectual property

All content on this site โ€” including text, images, logos, product designs, and the “Newman Bands” name โ€” is owned by Manzora Ltd or licensed to us. You may view, share, and link to our content, but you must not copy, reproduce, modify, or commercially use any of it without our written permission.

14. Links to other websites

Our site may contain links to third-party websites (such as review platforms, social media, or payment providers). We’re not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those sites. Any transactions you make with third parties are between you and them.

15. Your personal data

How we collect, use, and protect your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy: newmanbands.com/privacy-policy/.

Your use of this site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

16. Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • breach of your statutory rights as a consumer
  • any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UK law

Subject to the above, our total liability to you for any loss arising from your order is limited to the amount you paid for the ring in question.

We are not liable for any business losses (such as loss of profit, business, or contracts) because we sell to consumers for personal use, not for business use.

17. Events outside our control

We’re not liable for delays or failures to perform our obligations caused by events outside our reasonable control โ€” for example, Royal Mail delays, severe weather, industrial action, supplier failures, or other events beyond our reasonable control. If such an event affects your order, we’ll contact you as soon as possible.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when the current version was published. Any changes apply to orders placed after the update date โ€” they don’t affect orders already placed under previous terms.

19. Complaints and dispute resolution

If something’s gone wrong, please contact us first at clare@newmanbands.com. We take all complaints seriously and will do our best to resolve them quickly.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
