Green is one of our smaller colour categories — three rings, all variations on the same idea: a black tungsten base with green as the accent. We have not expanded beyond this because green sits at a specific point on the colour spectrum where it works well in narrow doses but starts to look costume-like when overused on a ring. The Verdurous is the most direct of the three — brushed black tungsten with a polished green centre groove. If you are unsure where to start in green, the Verdurous is the safe first look. The contrast between the brushed black and the polished green is what makes the ring work; the green reads as a deliberate detail rather than a colour statement, which is why it tends to be the most popular choice among buyers who want green but do not want it to dominate.

The Shamrock takes the same idea further — polished black with a brighter, more saturated green that runs both as a centre groove and along the inside of the band. The fully-coloured interior is the differentiator; the green is more visible from certain angles than on the Verdurous, and the ring catches light differently as a result. It suits a buyer who wants green to be unmistakably part of the ring, not just an accent line.

The Deco is the textural alternative — black tungsten with a green carbon fibre inlay rather than a coloured groove. The weave pattern of the carbon fibre gives the green a more complex, layered quality than a solid finish can — light catches it in different directions depending on the angle. It is the most distinctive of the three and tends to attract buyers who want green but find the simpler bands too plain.

The colour is bonded to the metal surface under vacuum at a molecular level, rather than deposited on top of it the way older electroplating works. Electroplating sits on the surface and wears through at contact points; PVD becomes part of it. The practical difference is significant, and it is why we see very few returns or complaints about colour fading or lifting. It will not survive being ground against abrasive surfaces indefinitely — no finish will — but for everyday wear including manual work and time at the gym, it holds up well.
