Gold Band, Black Detail
The Captivate is a gold tungsten band with a black groove through the surface. The gold covers the majority of the band; the black groove sits in the centre as a cooler, darker element within the warm gold.
The contrast between gold and black is high, which means the groove reads clearly even at a distance.
It works for buyers who wanted gold as the dominant colour with a specific detail that makes the ring something more than a plain gold band.
Both the gold and black surfaces on the Captivate are PVD finishes on tungsten carbide. Tungsten holds both at the groove boundary through daily wear.
Tungsten cannot be resized, but Newman Bands offers a free size exchange if the fit is not right first time.
