THE DETAILS
Polished rose gold inlaid through the centre of the black band. The warm tone against the full black surface makes the contrast more pronounced than on lighter base colours.
Available at 8mm. The width gives both the black surface and the rose gold groove room to register clearly.
Both finishes are PVD on tungsten carbide. The rose gold groove holds its definition through daily wear.

Black Surface, Rose Gold Detail
The Gold Heart is a black tungsten band built around a rose gold groove. The contrast between the full black surface and the warm rose gold is sharper than the same combination in silver or white gold because the black has depth that lighter base metals do not.
It works particularly well as a wedding ring in couples where one partner is wearing rose gold jewellery. The rings do not match, but the rose gold element is a shared thread.
The groove is inlaid rather than surface-applied, which means the rose gold sits within the band rather than on top of it. The edge where the colours meet is defined.
The black and rose gold surfaces on the Gold Heart are both PVD finishes on a tungsten carbide base. The hardness of the tungsten keeps the rose gold groove from losing its definition at the edges through daily wear, which is where softer base metals show deterioration first.
