Tungsten carbide sits at 9 on the Mohs hardness scale — one below diamond. The rose gold PVD finish is bonded at a molecular level, not plated on top. The rose gold and silver finish are applied with PVD coating — a vapour deposition process that bonds colour at a molecular level rather than plating it on top. This is the same process used on luxury watches. It won’t peel, fade, or react with skin. The boundary between the silver and rose gold is sealed at the molecular level — no wearing at the join.
