THE DETAILS
Brushed matte black centre with polished black edges. Both surfaces are the same colour; the distinction between them is in the finish, giving the ring visual depth without introducing a second colour.
Available at 6mm and 8mm. The dual-finish detail reads clearly at both widths; the 8mm gives both surfaces more room.
The black finish is applied using PVD on a tungsten carbide base. The hardness of the tungsten keeps the finish from wearing at the contact points, where all-black rings made from softer metals tend to show wear first.
Comfort-fit curve, rounded interior slides on easily, sits flat all day.

Brushed Centre, Polished Edges
The Strength is an all-black tungsten band, but the surface is not uniform. The centre carries a brushed matte finish; the edges are polished. Both are black. The distinction between them is visible up close and gives the ring a structure that a single-finish band does not have.

Black tungsten rings use PVD surface treatment applied over a tungsten carbide base. Tungsten is hard enough to keep the finish from dulling at the edges and contact points where softer metals lose their colour first. The brushed centre and polished edges on the Strength hold their respective finishes through daily wear.
