Your Perfect Ring – Try it at Home
When your ring arrives, try it on, check the fit, and make sure you love it in person. If it's not right for any reason, return it free within 100 days. The only risk is finding one you love.
Engrave Your Ring
Add a date, initials or message, laser engraved in-house and dispatched the same day. Most engravers add days to delivery. We don't.
Tungsten carbide rates 9 on the Mohs hardness scale — just below diamond. Only a diamond can mark it.
Tungsten don't react with air, water or skin — ever. Our colours outlast precious metal equivalents.
Built for long-term wear — retains its shape and finish even with daily use.
Every ring arrives in a presentation gift box — no extra packaging needed. Ready to give exactly as it arrives.
A black tungsten band at 6mm or 8mm with a polished silver stripe set into the centre, running cleanly around the full circumference. Tungsten carbide is one of the hardest metals used in jewellery: it won’t bend, deform, or tarnish. A men’s wedding ring for the buyer who wanted something between a plain band and a two-tone finish, where the detail is precise rather than decorative: engravable, dispatched same day.
What makes this ring worth it?
Walk into a jeweller and you’ll find versions of our rings for 3–4 times the price. The difference isn’t the ring — it’s the overheads. We work directly with the craftspeople who make them and carry the stock ourselves, which is how we can sell a ring that genuinely lasts for a fraction of high street prices.
Traditional gold and silver scratch, bend and lose their shine. That doesn’t happen here. We use a high end process called PVD plating which is the same process used on high end watches to keep your ring looking great.
Why buy from Newman Bands?
We’re based in Horsham and dispatch the same day for orders before 5pm (11am Saturday). That includes engraved rings — we hold stock and engrave on site, which is why we can still get it to you in 1–2 days. Most online ring sellers take 2 weeks or more.
We’ve fulfilled over 100,000 orders since 2019 and hold over 10,000 five-star reviews across Trustpilot and Reviews.io. Any questions before you buy — contact us directly. No chatbots, no outsourced support. We handle it ourselves.
What if it doesn't fit?
Tungsten and titanium can’t be resized, so we offer free exchanges or refunds on unengraved rings — no questions asked. If you want a refund or an exchange, you have 100 days to return it free for any reason.
Not sure of your size? Select “I don’t know my ring size” from the dropdown and we’ll send you a free ring sizer first.
THE DETAILS
A polished silver stripe runs through the centre of the black band. The contrast between the two finishes is precisely defined.
Available at 6mm and 8mm. At 6mm the silver stripe takes up a larger proportion of the visible surface; at 8mm it sits as a narrower accent.
Both the black and silver surfaces are applied using PVD on a tungsten base. The tungsten hardness keeps the finish intact at the boundary between the two colours.
Comfort-fit curve, rounded interior slides on easily, sits flat all day.

Black Band, Silver Centre
The Fearless is a black tungsten band with a single polished silver stripe running through the centre. The stripe is narrow enough to read as a precise detail rather than a dominant feature, and the black surface on each side frames it cleanly.
The ring works because the contrast is controlled. It is not a 50/50 split of two colours; it is a black ring with a specific detail. Buyers who wanted a black ring but found the solid black options lacking tend to choose the Fearless because the silver stripe gives it something without changing what it fundamentally is.
At 6mm the stripe takes up a significant proportion of the visible surface; at 8mm it reads as a narrower accent within the wider black band.
The black and silver surfaces on the Fearless are both applied using PVD over a tungsten carbide base. The hardness of the tungsten keeps both finishes intact at the edges where they meet, which is where lesser materials would show wear first. The boundary between the black and silver stays sharp.
Tungsten cannot be resized, but Newman Bands offers a free size exchange if the fit is not right first time.
“Bought this ring for my wedding ring and it hasn’t disappointed at all. Feels great to wear and people always comment on it.”
Barry, a UK buyer
8 buyers of the Fearless return to two consistent points: it works as a wedding ring, and people notice it. Barry, a UK buyer, bought it as his wedding ring, said people always comment on it, and needed a size exchange which was handled without fuss. Dom, a UK buyer, replaced a broken wedding ring with the Fearless and noted the new one looks considerably better.
Liam, a UK buyer, bought it for his wedding and described it as amazing, also needing a size exchange which was resolved quickly. Barry moved from an 8mm to a 6mm in the correct size, which confirms the ring runs to size across both widths. The consistent thread across the Fearless reviews is buyers who came for a wedding ring and found the black and silver combination delivered more impact than a plain band.
The dominant pre-purchase doubt on a black and silver ring is whether the contrast between the two finishes looks sharp once it is on the finger. The Fearless reviews say it does.
