Engrave Your Ring
Add a date, initials or message, laser engraved in-house and dispatched the same day. Most engravers add days to delivery. We don't.
Tungsten carbide rates 9 on the Mohs hardness scale — just below diamond. Only a diamond can mark it.
Tungsten don't react with air, water or skin — ever. Our colours outlast precious metal equivalents.
Built for long-term wear — retains its shape and finish even with daily use.
Every ring arrives in a presentation gift box — no extra packaging needed. Ready to give exactly as it arrives.
Brushed silver tungsten with a polished gold groove through the centre. 8mm. A classic two-tone design that pairs a matte silver finish with a single warm gold line running around the band. Most buyers choose the Together as a wedding ring or a gift for their partner — the two-tone combination reads as traditional and refined without being flashy.
Tungsten carbide sits at 9 on the Mohs hardness scale — one below diamond. The brushed silver finish resists fingerprints and hides everyday contact marks, while the polished gold groove catches light cleanly. Both finishes are bonded using PVD coating, the same process used on luxury watches, so neither will tarnish, fade, or react with skin. It has real weight to it — tungsten is as dense as 18-karat gold, so the Together feels solid and substantial on the finger. Rated five stars by all 25+ verified buyers. Comfort-fit interior. Engravable. Dispatched today.
What makes this ring worth it?
Walk into a jeweller and you’ll find versions of our rings for 3–4 times the price. The difference isn’t the ring — it’s the overheads. We work directly with the craftspeople who make them and carry the stock ourselves, which is how we can sell a ring that genuinely lasts for a fraction of high street prices.
Traditional gold and silver scratch, bend and lose their shine. That doesn’t happen here. We use a high end process called PVD plating which is the same process used on high end watches to keep your ring looking great.
Why buy from Newman Bands?
We’re based in Horsham and dispatch the same day for orders before 5pm (11am Saturday). That includes engraved rings — we hold stock and engrave on site, which is why we can still get it to you in 1–2 days. Most online ring sellers take 2 weeks or more.
We’ve fulfilled over 100,000 orders since 2019 and hold over 10,000 five-star reviews across Trustpilot and Reviews.io. Any questions before you buy — contact us directly. No chatbots, no outsourced support. We handle it ourselves.
What if it doesn't fit?
Tungsten and titanium can’t be resized, so we offer free exchanges or refunds on unengraved rings — no questions asked. If you want a refund or an exchange, you have 100 days to return it free for any reason.
Not sure of your size? Select “I don’t know my ring size” from the dropdown and we’ll send you a free ring sizer first.
THE DETAILS
Tungsten carbide is rated 9 on the Mohs hardness scale — one step below diamond and approximately four times harder than titanium. Gold rates 2.5. The brushed silver surface and the polished gold groove both hold their finish through daily wear. Quanita Spindler, Seaham, researched tungsten specifically after her husband broke his previous ring lifting weights: “Hubby is thrilled with his new ring and loves the solid weight of it on his finger.”
The brushed silver and polished gold are both applied using PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) — the same coating process used on luxury watches. PVD bonds colour at a molecular level rather than plating on top, which is why neither finish will tarnish, peel, or react with skin. Charlotte Cox bought the Together as a replacement wedding ring for her husband and noticed the contrast straight away: “The gold is a beautiful highlight from the silver.”
Tungsten carbide has almost identical density to 18-karat gold. Pick it up and the first thing you notice is the weight — solid and substantial. Over 10 buyers mention the weight or the solid feel unprompted. The comfort-fit interior is gently domed so it slides on easily and sits flat all day. Kevin Barnfield, Greenwich, summed it up: “Great ring, nice and big. Great weighty feel to it.”
Every ring arrives in a presentation box — no extra wrapping needed. Add a date, name, or message with laser engraving done in-house. We engrave and post the same day. Denise Welsh, Glasgow, bought the Together for her husband: “Husband is delighted with his new ring. Looks really smart and was superb value for money. Have had many comments about it.”

Who This Ring Is For
The Together is bought as a wedding ring more than anything else. Across its reviews, wedding purchases and partner gifts are the most common reasons people choose it. After that: commitment rings, replacement wedding bands, and everyday-wear rings for buyers who want something classic without the fragility of gold. If you want a traditional two-tone look that holds up through daily life, this is one of our most trusted designs.
Brushed silver tungsten with a single polished gold groove running through the centre of the band. The silver is matte — soft to the eye, resistant to fingerprints, and forgiving on everyday contact marks. The gold groove is polished to a high shine, catching light as a clean, warm line against the silver. The contrast between the two finishes is what makes the design work — understated enough for daily wear, distinctive enough to draw compliments.
“Quite comfortable on the finger, stylish and unique in its design and presentation, tough, durable material.” — Adefunke Adesibikan, Yeovil
Why Tungsten Lasts
Tungsten carbide is one of the hardest materials used in jewellery — 9 on the Mohs scale, one step below diamond. It won’t scratch from everyday contact, won’t bend under pressure, and won’t tarnish from moisture or skin.
Both the brushed silver and the polished gold finishes are applied with PVD coating — a vapour deposition process that bonds colour at a molecular level rather than plating it on top. This is the same process used on luxury watches. Neither finish fades, peels, or reacts with skin.
Tungsten can’t be resized. If the fit isn’t right, return it free and we’ll exchange it the same day it arrives.
The Value Question
The most common observation from buyers is that the Together looks and feels like a ring that costs far more than they paid. Buyers who’ve priced two-tone wedding bands on the high street — gold and silver combinations from traditional jewellers — are consistently surprised by what they get here. The weight is near-identical to 18K gold. Both finishes hold indefinitely. And unlike gold, tungsten won’t scratch from a week of daily wear.
“Looks much more expensive than it is. It looks beautiful.”
— Robert Mitchell, Glasgow
Buying This as a Gift?
A large proportion of Together purchases are gifts — from partners, parents, and family members. The presentation box does the work for you. No wrapping needed — it arrives ready to give.
Add a laser engraving — a date, initials, or a short message — and it becomes personal. We engrave in-house and post the same day.
“Bought this as a replacement wedding ring for my husband. It fits perfectly and is stunning! The gold is a beautiful highlight from the silver. Really quick delivery arrived in 1 day and before Christmas. Thank you so much!”
— Charlotte Cox

“Bought the ‘Together’ ring for myself and my boyfriend as promise/commitment rings. Super fast delivery and superb personal customer service. Gorgeous rings, really nice weight to them and they look classy and expensive. Ladies can wear them too!”
Lucy Pollard, St Albans
27 verified five-star reviews, every buyer giving it top marks. Over 10 buyers mention the weight or the solid feel unprompted — tungsten carbide has nearly identical density to 18-karat gold, and buyers notice it the moment they pick it up. The two-tone combination of brushed silver and polished gold consistently reads as more expensive than it costs.
“The ring is beautiful, I can’t fault it in any way. Well made, solid and crafted perfectly.”
Steve Phillips, Derby
