THE DETAILS
Deep polished blue finish across the outer surface, applied using PVD over a tungsten base. The colour reads differently in natural and artificial light.
Black plaid carbon fibre runs through the centre of the band, contained within a silver bevelled frame on each side. The weave pattern is visible up close.
Two distinct finish types on one ring: the blue PVD surface and the carbon fibre inlay are both held by the tungsten base, which is hard enough to keep both stable through daily use.
Comfort-fit curve, rounded interior slides on easily, sits flat all day.

Blue Surface, Carbon Fibre Core
The Clarity combines two things that do not usually share a ring: a deep blue polished surface and a black carbon fibre plaid inlay. The blue tungsten provides the base; the carbon fibre runs through the centre; bevelled silver edges finish each side. In direct light the blue is vivid. In lower light it reads closer to black with a depth to it.

The carbon fibre inlay is what makes the Clarity specific. Blue tungsten rings exist. Blue tungsten rings with a plaid carbon fibre centre are a different thing.
The blue surface on the Clarity is a PVD finish applied over tungsten carbide. The same process holds the black carbon fibre inlay in its tungsten frame. Tungsten is hard enough to keep both the surface colour and the inlay secure through daily wear, which matters when you are asking two different finish types to coexist on a single band.
Tungsten cannot be resized, but Newman Bands offers a free size exchange if the fit is not right first time.
