Tungsten carbide sits at 9 on the Mohs hardness scale — one below diamond. The black PVD finish is bonded at a molecular level, not plated on top. The meteorite inlay is sealed under resin, smooth and protected. The faux meteorite pattern sits beneath a smooth resin layer inside the polished black tungsten frame. The detail is all visual — the ring feels polished all over, but the pattern gives it a depth and character that plain bands don’t have.
